Guns and the Mentally Ill

     Many of the past school shooters have claimed that they are mentally ill. That leads to people asking how a mentally ill person can buy a gun. There has been debate on whether or not the problem is guns or the mentally ill. How easy it is to buy a gun is the problem many people point too. Background checks are sometimes not completely effective in blocking someone that is not mentally capable of owning a gun.
     There are many debates on who is responsible for the crimes being committed by the mentally ill. Some people say that there is not enough restrictions and background checks to buy a gun, and other says the the mentally ill are responsible. Due to the shootings that happen in schools and other public places this is a trending topic.

    Can you be a bit more specific? Which shooters claimed that they had mental illness? Or was that court-derived medical experts analyzing someone like James Holmes or Dylan Klebold, for example? I agree with you on the background checks. For example, how did Adam Lanza get his guns? From his mother.
    I'd keep building this--not sure where you want to take it yet.

    I agree with you on that background checks aren't always efficient but that it's good to do. It's also truth when you said that many debates are going on about the crimes and then it comes to the suspects having a medical condition. Very good post.

    Interesting background. Your data and information all seem sufficient enough to prove your future claim about mental illness shootings along with background checks on these people. I would further keep talking about these issues forming a argument about what this all means in ties to social media and the news.

Over the past few years, the rates of bullying have risen significantly in the United States. The term "Bullying" refers to unwanted, aggressive behavior that many times involves an imbalance of power.  The behavior can be repeated and both kids who are bullied and bully others can have serious long lasting potential problems. The Mind of a Serial Killer

Many serial killers act the same as any other human beings.  They walk, talk, and work long hours at any occupation.  However, they are masters of compartmentalization due to certain traits such as strong narcissism to manipulate others, making interrogations useless since it can be difficult on what serial killers are actually thinking and on why they kill.  They don't kill because they think differently, it's based on what they feel or any other motives towards murdering their victims.
