In civilized society we reject the principle of literally doing to criminals what they do to their victims. But in some cases, capital punishments are needed for criminals that have executed innocent people every now and then. You also mentioned that Capital punishment is unjustifiable and ethically wrong and if a person kills somebody instated of killing them to help them, it will be great if you suggest some way on how the criminals can be punished without getting the capital punishment.
